Bridal Shows!
Many brides-to-be want to know how to get the most out of bridal shows. Here are some tips that will make your sunday afternoon enjoyable and productive!
1. Do your research! Some brides like small and intimate shows while others like to see three hundred vendors in one afternoon. Know what type of show it is before you go to avoid disappointment. Be sure to pre-register for a discount or even free admission.
2. Take a notepad, pen, and a camera! You might come across some great ideas that you would like to recreate at your wedding. Always ask before you take any pictures, some vendors are picky!
3. Preprint address labels with your information. Vendors often raffle away their services and jotting down your info can take up a lot of your time. Here is what you should include.
Name
Groom's Name
Wedding Date
Email (consider creating an email address just for your vendors, they usually send out alot of emails advertising their deals)
Phone Number
Address
4. Check the bridal show invitation or website prior to the show for contests that you can enter. I recently attended a show that was giving away a $50,000 wedding and only three brides had entered!!!!
5. Most vendors give discounts if you book them at the show. I suggest that you do some research before you put down any deposits. Check out their website and customer reviews before you trust them with your wedding!
6. Most shows provide brides with planners or guides that list all the vendors. Be sure to pick one up as this can come in handy.
