Ahoy its a Boy!

Last June my sweet little boy was born and to celebrate his birth we had a welcome baby at the Lakeside Restaurant in Encino. As soon as I saw the patio area of this cute place I fell in love. It overlooked a beautiful lake with ducks swimming. What really inspired me to do a nautical theme was the oars that hang on the ceiling of the patio. Most of the decor was purchased from Hobby Lobby and I made the candle centerpieces myself. Since it was an extremely hot day I put a fan on each persons place purchased from amazon. The venue preprinted custom menus for each plate which was an extra touch I adored. We also framed his picture that we took at a studio in Glendale to match the theme of our event.
